# Mount a drive
|
|
|
|
Videos on a cloud drive? Mount it into Fanmu first.
|
|
|
|
## What is supported
|
|
|
|
**WebDAV**.
|
|
|
|
OpenList (formerly AList) works through its WebDAV endpoint — there is no separate OpenList API.
|
|
|
|
SMB, Emby, and OneDrive are not supported yet.
|
|
|
|
## How
|
|
|
|
1. Open **Mounts** in the sidebar
|
|
2. Add a mount and fill in:
|
|
|
|
| Field | Meaning |
|
|
|-------|---------|
|
|
| Name | Anything, e.g. "My NAS" |
|
|
| URL | WebDAV root, like `https://nas.example.com/dav` |
|
|
| Username | Drive account (optional) |
|
|
| Password | Drive password (optional) |
|
|
| Root path | Only look under this folder (empty = whole root) |
|
|
|
|
3. Click **Test connection**, then save
|
|
|
|
## Is the password safe
|
|
|
|
The password is **encrypted on the server**. The browser never sees the plaintext. Streams also go through the server, so your browser does not talk to the drive with your password.
|
|
|
|
## If it fails
|
|
|
|
- Cannot connect: check that the URL is the WebDAV root, and that the account and HTTPS cert are fine
|
|
- Connects but empty: the root path may be too deep
|
|
- Do not need it anymore: disable or delete the mount
|
|
|
|
